Every new life is a miracle, but some feel more miraculous than others. This little babe who will enter this world in just one short week is one of those. BB#2 as we will call him/her is a NAIT Baby. Just like big brother Dylan, this little one is special, a born fighter. But unlike Dylan, Mommy (my beautiful sister) and Daddy (my handsome brother-in-law) were prepared when they entered into this pregnancy. The challenges of a known NAIT pregnancy are unlike any other. It takes courage and strength and a most incredible heart and I’m so proud to say my sister has done it with her husband’s support. While this little one is quite literally 1:1000, I think we can up that to 1:1,000,000 based on how lucky he/she is to be joining the best family there is! Two loving parents and a big brother who is more excited to meet “his baby” than anything.
In 2012 when Dylan was in that very belly, we captured Mommy holding her baby and Daddy holding his (that lovely Gibson). Now that BB#2 is on the way, we have made some changes!
Life is about to get a whole lot fuller and a whole lot sweeter. I am so excited for all of you to be welcoming this miracle into your lives!Little one — we are all so ready for you! Just one more week until the start of your incredible story. Your journey awaits!
